Integrity and Experience for Our Community
Increase Efficiency in Our Courts Using the latest technology to increase the efficiency of our court system will save tax payer dollars, reduce waste and ensure police investigations can be conducted as quickly as possible. As an attorney in the U.S. Army JAG core I helped design and implement a plan that increased efficiency by 60% and reduced wait time for client base of over 15,000 soldiers and civilians by 80%. As Magistrate District Judge, will maximize use of electronic communications for search warrants, including e-mail and smart phones, to ensure that the police will have 24/7 access to me for approval of search warrants. Investing In Our Children When young people run into trouble, our courts must enforce the law. Yet, young people have the greatest potential to learn from their mistakes. As Magisterial District Judge, I will make reforming youth and other first-time offenders a top priority by ordering them to perform extensive, meaningful community service and closely monitoring their school performance. If the defendant successfully completes the community service I order, I will dismiss their criminal charges. I will give these young offenders an opportunity to become responsible citizens who make a positive impact on our Township. Experience & Record of Service Maintaining public confidence and respect for our justice system is a top priority. The range of diverse and often complicated issues before this court requires a skilled legal professional to serve as Magisterial District Judge. As a former U.S. Army prosecutor and attorney I have extensive experience prosecuting violent crimes and fighting corporate fraud as well as successfully handling hundreds of criminal and civil cases. I have the experience, proven track record and history of service to our community needed to serve as your Magisterial District Judge. The retirement of Judge Householder leaves huge shoes to fill, but with my experience and community involvement, I am up to the challenge. |
